Minister Wong addressed a number of important topics that many Singaporeans are concerned with in this year's budget announcement. He addressed worries on inflation and the impact of rising prices on Singaporeans' daily life.

There was assurance that the government would take additional measures to assist residents who are at risk due to the rising cost of living, especially seniors and lower-income groups.
