The CCP is a government initiative by Workforce Singapore (WSG) aimed at supporting companies in the hiring and reskilling of mid-career switchers. By working with programme partners such as WAF to administer the CCP grant, it provides invaluable salary support and guidance through the hiring and training processes.
There are several CCPs offered by WSG, with each one aimed at a different purpose – thus featuring different benefits and criteria.
The CCP for Professional Executives is aimed at helping companies, by providing salary support, to hire mid-career individuals and equip them with digital skills so that they may take on new digital job roles
Companies that participate in the programme and implement an eligible structured On-the-Job training (OJT) plan can benefit from salary support of up to 90% of the employees’ salary for a period of 4 months.

This CCP programme encompasses a period catered for structured On-The-Job Training (OJT) by the company, spanning 4 months for new hires to adapt to their new role and pick up the necessary new skills.
WAF will guide you with a template to draft an OJT plan so to ensure an immersive learning experience for your new hire.
This training period is designed to enhance their capabilities and facilitate a smooth transition into their new positions. By actively engaging in practical training, your new hire will acquire valuable skills and knowledge that directly align with the requirements of their roles, ensuring a solid foundation for success.
Employees undergoing the CCP for Professional Executives must adopt at least one digital skill incorporated into their OJT, ensuring that they fulfil the technical skills and competencies requirement.

As long as your company and the candidate meet the requirements, they will be eligible for the Standard Rate, which subsidises up to 70% of their fixed monthly salary for the training duration.
However, if the candidate is 40 years old and above or has been unemployed for at least 6 months, they will qualify for the Enhanced Rate, which provides up to 90% of their fixed monthly salary.
